Position: 22 senior faculty members (14 Associate Professors, 8 Professors) across 16 departments (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, History, Zoology, English, etc.)

Eligibility

General Requirements

• PhD in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 research publications in peer‑reviewed/UGC‑listed journals.
• Academic/Research Score of 120 (Appendix II, Table 2, UGC Regulations 2018).
• At least 10 years of teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor or equivalent research experience.
• Successful guidance of doctoral candidates.

Alternative Path (B)

• PhD holder from any academic institution (excluding those in category A) or industry.
• Significant contributions to knowledge with documentary evidence.
• Ten years of experience.
• Academic record with PhD and Master’s degree (≥ 55 % marks or equivalent).
• At least 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.
• Minimum 7 publications in peer‑reviewed/UGC‑listed journals.
• Academic/Research Score of 75.

Publication Criteria: Papers in predatory or dubious journals and presentations at such conferences earn no credit. Evaluation follows UGC Public Notice F. No. 1‑1/2018(CARE/JOURNAL).

Special Note: PhD holders who obtained their Master’s degree before 19 September 1991 may receive a 5 % relaxation.

EWS/UR Post: The Education post is reserved for EWS candidates. If no suitable EWS candidate is found, the post may be filled under UR. UR candidates may apply at their own risk.
