Haryana Police SPO Recruitment 2026

The Haryana Police Telecommunication Wing, Panchkula, has invited applications for the engagement of 170 Special Police Officers (SPOs) under Section 21 of the Haryana Police Act, 2007.

Eligibility

• Ex‑servicemen of the Armed Forces or Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
• Former Constables of the disbanded Haryana State Industrial Security Force (HSISF) or Haryana Armed Police (HAP) Battalions.
• Minimum 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
• Minimum five years of service in the Armed Forces/CAPFs.
• No removal or dismissal from service on grounds of indiscipline, misconduct or medical unfitness.
• Medical category at discharge: Category A.
• Character certificate at discharge: Exemplary or Outstanding.
• Age: 25 to 50 years as on the date of advertisement.
• Preference for candidates experienced in operating and maintaining telecommunication equipment, especially those who served in the Signal Corps.

Application Process

1. Date of appearance: 5 November 2026.
2. Location: Respective District Police Control Room.
3. Documents required:
   • Completed application form.
   • Original documents and attested photocopies.
   • Required affidavits.
   • Four passport‑size colour photographs.
4. Submission: Applications submitted after the prescribed date for the concerned district will not be accepted.
5. Instructions: Follow any district‑specific instructions published by Haryana Police.

Important Notes

• The recruitment is not open to all 12th‑pass candidates; it is specifically for the notified ex‑servicemen and former constables mentioned above.
• The press release states 170 SPOs, but the attached terms and application form refer to 400 SPOs. Candidates should confirm the correct vacancy figure with the recruiting authority.
• The engagement carries a monthly honorarium of Rs. 20,000.
