About SCL

SCL is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). It is the only Integrated Device Manufacturing Facility in India, providing end‑to‑end solutions for the development of Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), opto‑electronics devices, and Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) devices.

Eligibility

• Nationality: Only Indian nationals.
• Post Application: A candidate may apply for only one post among the Administrative Posts (SCL 2601 to SCL 2604). Separate applications and examination fees are required for each Technical post.
• Age & Qualification: Counted as on the closing date (30.11.2026). Minimum qualifications are specified per post.
• Experience: Must be obtained after acquiring the essential educational qualification and relevant to the post.
• Criminal Record: No criminal record or pending legal case.
• Spouse: Candidates with a spouse living, or who have married a person with a living spouse, are disqualified unless exempted by the Central Government.
• MBA: Candidates possessing an MBA degree (other than those mentioned in the notification) are not eligible.

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) – Eligibility for CBT is based on meeting the minimum requirements; meeting them does not guarantee CBT eligibility.
2. Interview / Further Rounds – As per the notification (details to be announced).

• ESM – Ex‑Servicemen

• HH – Hearing Handicapped
• BL – Both Leg Handicapped

Note: PwBD and ESM reservations are applied on a horizontal interlocking basis in either UR/SC/ST/OBC (NCL) vacancies.
