BHEL Artisan Recruitment 2027

Vacancies: 660 Artisan Grade‑IV positions across nine manufacturing units in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Trades: Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic and Foundryman.

Eligibility

• Class 10 (Matriculation) or equivalent.
• National Trade Certificate (NTC/ITI) in the relevant trade.
• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade.
• Certificates or marksheets must be obtained by 1 October 2026.
• Only full‑time regular courses are accepted.
• NAC must be issued by the competent authority.
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates applying for non‑reserved vacancies will be considered under general merit without relaxation in minimum percentage.
• Ex‑servicemen with prescribed trade equivalency may be exempted from minimum marks.
• Knowledge of the regional language is desirable for units in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka; Hindi is desirable for other units.

Age Limit

• General and EWS candidates: 27 years as of 1 October 2026.
• Other categories follow the same ceiling.

Selection Process

1. Application: Online from 21 October to 18 November 2026.
2. Document Verification & Skill Test: Date to be announced; cut‑off for certificates is the date of verification.
3. Computer‑Based Examination: Scheduled on the same day for all notified vacancies.
4. Temporary Salary: Rs. 24,000 per month for the first year.
5. Service: Selected employees must serve at their allocated unit for at least 20 years; transfers are not entertained.
