Employment type

Daily‑wage basis under a contract with KSRTC SWIFT.
Pay: Rs. 715 per eight‑hour duty plus overtime at Rs. 130 per hour and allowances, with EPF and ESI.
No claim to permanent appointment.
Selected candidates must deposit Rs. 30,000 as refundable security and serve two years after training.

Eligibility

Conductor	10th pass	Conductor licence under Motor Vehicles Act 1988	21‑55	Must read/write Malayalam & English; basic arithmetic	Must produce valid licence within one month of appointment if not held at selection.
Driver‑cum‑Conductor	10th pass	HMV licence + 5 years heavy passenger vehicle experience	21‑55	Same as Driver	Must hold valid HMV licence at test; must produce conductor licence within fixed time if selected.

Experience (Driver‑cum‑Conductor)

Minimum 5 years driving heavy passenger vehicles with >30 seats, proven by contribution certificates or experience certificates from government institutions.

Physical & Medical

Vision: 6/6 distant, 0.5 near in each eye; colour blindness or any eye defect disqualifies.
Health: Fitness and eyesight for up to 10‑hour duties, certified by a Civil Surgeon or higher and an ophthalmologist.
Police clearance: must be produced within 10 days of selection.

Application

Other Notes

KSRTC employees may work in KSRTC SWIFT on a working arrangement or deputation; they continue to receive KSRTC salary and only eligible incentives from SWIFT.
Candidates removed from service after appointment or who leave without authorisation are not eligible.
