Pay: Fixed ₹40,800 per month for the first five years

Eligibility

• Age: 18 to 37 years on 10 November 2026
• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution (Central/State Act or deemed university). Equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government are accepted.
• No financial interest in the manufacture, import or sale of any food article.
• Candidates must have an OTR (One‑Time Registration) on OJAS.

Reservation

• 8 posts reserved for ex‑servicemen (10% reservation). Adjusted against their own category (UR, EWS, SEBC, SC, ST).
• 0 posts reserved for candidates with disabilities (special recruitment under Advertisement No. 466/202627).
• Women are reserved under the General Administration Department notification dated 11/11/2014. If no suitable woman candidate is available, the post goes to a male candidate of the same category.
• Reserved posts are only for candidates from reserved classes of Gujarat origin.

Selection Process

• One‑stage Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) competitive examination (CBRT/OMR).
• Selection based on merit (marks or normalised marks).
