Eligibility

• Qualification:
  • Minimum 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Government‑recognised institute
  • OR Indian University Degree in Civil Engineering
  • OR AMIE Section (A & B) India
• Age Limit: 40 years (as on 1 Jan 2026)
  • Relaxation:
    • SC, ST‑1, ST‑2, RBA, ALC/IB, EWS, OBC: 43 years
    • Physically Challenged Person: 42 years
• Domicile: Must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir
• Other Conditions: Candidates with qualifications other than those prescribed are not eligible. Certificates must be in the prescribed format for reservation categories.

Selection Process

1. Written/OMR Examination – Objective type, multiple‑choice questions in English. Negative marking of ¼ of the marks for each wrong answer.
2. Document Verification – Verification of all submitted documents.

Application Procedure

1. Apply online through the official JKSSB website: www.jkssb.nic.in.
2. Upload a live photograph, signature, category certificate, and qualification/experience certificates.
3. Pay the application fee online via Net Banking, Credit or Debit card.
4. Submit the application on or before 29 Dec 2026. Only one application per candidate for the same item number is allowed.
